The Tragedy Within is composed of 5 teens from a rural area outside of Ottawa, Ontario. Each member of TTW has been in
a number of different bands that vary in style. It all started when Colin and Kyle decided to start up a screamo band. They
jammed a couple of times, and decided to gain a couple more members and get the band rolling. Colin and Kyle remembered Jeff,
a long time friend, and conveniently, a bass player. Jeff joined the band in an instant after leaving former band, Broken
Logic. The boys began looking for a vocalist.
They tried out a bunch of different people, some of which were ok, and some of which were... umm... lol but after searching
for oh so long, they came across Jon, who had previously been in a band called Fallen Through Failure, with Colin and Jeff.
Shortly after, a new addition, and a good one at that, Nick was added to the list as a rhythm guitarist. Finally, TTW was
able to start writing and playing shows. They played at Ottawa University, at... believe it or not, a COFFEE HOUSE... wow
that did not work at all, but whatever... They also played at the Casselman Arena. Just recently, there has been a few changes
with the line-up. Jon has left to play guitar with the band, Epocholypse. Colin and his screaming abilities has taken on the
role of Lead Vocals, and to take Colin's spot on Lead Guitar, Scott has joined. Now Colin is screaming/singing, and Nick and
Scott are on back-up vocals. Now all 5 of the boys are writing, recording, and playing shows for your listening pleasure.
